The cost of the powder is the primary reason. Attaining AAMA 2605 standards requires a Super Durable flouro-polymer coating, which can be as much as 10X, the cost of other coating options. In addition, application of this coating requires additional pretreatment steps to assure good adhesion.
Advanced Finishing USA stands above most competitors in its ability to powder coat production runs of aluminum extrusions up to 25 feet long at high volumes. Individual parts up to 9,000 pounds can also be accommodated. Batch operations can handle parts 8’ X 10’ X 40’.
